The Basilica of Saint-Sernin is one of the largest Romanesque buildings of the 11th century, made of bricks and stones. The nave stretches 115 meters, the length of a football field and the octagonal bell tower, meanwhile, is 65 meters. This majestic size of the Basilica was intended to accommodate the many pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela ... Stroll around the building and admire the elegant chevet, staggered from the chapels to the octagonal bell tower, characteristic of the architecture Toulouse.
